I don’t mean to only come here to complain. I am trying really hard to implement positive community change and organize for people in my community, but how do I stave off depression when everything about my life is under attack and the world around me is (literally) on fire.

Finally standing up for myself by telling my uncle every disgusting thing he ever did to me and blocking him out of my life was one of the best things I did for myself. But now my grandfather is dying and I am not welcome in Alaska because he controls every aspect of the situation.

I wrote this letter mostly about my concerns of NCDHHS losing funding and wanting to know what will happen to the people I serve. I did mention federal employees, but clearly congress doesn’t really read nor care
