but, they do a good job at with DSOHCF and I don’t think that people with IDD, physical disabilities, and complex medical conditions, deserve to lose their care and quality of life. Because that’s what’s going to go, not the people who do the fucked up stuff that should be held accountable.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t be held accountable and that people responsible shouldn’t be fired. When they cut money those aren’t the people who are going to go. They already just lost 100 million dollars for mental health and substance use services. NCDHHS isn’t great -

I think NCDHHS has a lot of room for improvement, but the services it provides now shouldn’t lose funding so that they disappear. It doesn’t help that there seems to be a war on public health and NC has a lot of health deserts.
