Just once this decade I would love to have a problem that I wouldn’tve faced in the 12th century. „A plague has come upon our land. Can I afford enough eggs for my family. Are our neighbors safe from religious zealots. Count the fingers on this hand to make sure it isn’t a fae trying to mislead me.“
I can’t believe we’re back to medieval level conflicts like “local authorities deny catholic prisoners the Eucharist, bishop arrives, Papal sanction may follow”

Every artist you admire has, at most, 4 very specific tools that they use to create their work don’t buy them art supplies unless you know them exactly. If you buy me a set of pencils I will use the 2h and F pencils down to the nub and throw everything from 9b-2b into a drawer and forget about it.
Every single person with any kind of creative hobby or even interest is guaranteed to get the worst fucking gifts related to it possible.

6/8 jig time (or 9/8 if you’re doing a slip jig) is really tricky for clawhammer banjo but I think I’m getting the hang of it. The song is part A from „the Blarney Pilgrim.“ parts B and C are not shown because i cant play them as well as this section. #banjo #banjofeed # clawhammer

Driving home from work at like 11pm one night, stopped at a traffic light waiting for it to turn when a crying clown in full makeup walked past on the sidewalk. Tear stains in all his makeup, rainbow wig and red nose still on, just bawling while walking down the street, no one else in sight.
What is the most 'magical-realist' thing to ever happen to you?
For me it is that in college I had several courses in Russian with a professor who looked like Tolkien, and yet who was never listed in the catalog ("mistake mistake") and his office was a broom closet under the stairs.

Im continually amazed at how timeless Samus Aran‘s character design is. Also at how cool this drawing of it is.
