I am all for R&D for new reactor designs. But this chart shows that its not just getting them built that will be a major challenge. Its operating them too!

Even if they get built, how long will it take these startups to get to 80% capacity factor? AP1000 is >90%!

if Chicago don't want Prop 13, then why did they name their L stations after the father of Prop 13, Howard Jarvis?

There is a property tax revolt starting in Chicago. One group is calling for a new policy 'modeled after California's Prop 13'

Folks, I will self-immolate in front of city hall if that happens

In N.C., churchgoers are literally running into the woods as federal agents descend on the property.

“Inside the church, women and children sobbed as they wondered whether their loved ones had been taken.”

Trump Admin is planning to ask Congress to dramatically cut funding for transit as part of the 2026 infrastructure law.

The proposal would eliminate the transit account, which funds billions of dollars in capital expenses. It would also prevent states from “flexing” roads funds for transit.

DOT recently sent two proposals to the White House budget office seeking to pare back transit money.

I wonder how much of Trump’s return to power can be explained by the existence of the filibuster. Voters have been insulated from the real GOP agenda for decades. They are getting closer now with Trump’s unitary theory of the executive and they hate it.
