Nice day trip yesterday to Gujo Hachiman in Gifu. Not so many tourists like Takayama etc. but has a castle, old town, great food… well worth a visit. About three hours by lots of local trains from Nagoya, but the journey is part of the charm.

The Nagoya High Court ruled today that Japan`s ban on same-sex marriage is in violation of the Japanese constitution. This is the fourth High court ruling to find the ban to be unconstitutional, setting a strong legal precedent.
