In the garden, encourage their natural predators, such as slow worms and frogs, by creating wild habitats. 🐸

There are small actions we can all take to help butterflies and other wildlife thrive. Call on UK retailers to stop the sale of synthetic pesticides 👇

When I was about 8, Pete Murray was who I wanted to be when I grew up.

As for @joanarmatrading.bsky.social being on BlueSky and only having 305 followers … Come on, people!
Pete Murray turned 100 yesterday, what an incredible milestone! Congratulations, Pete. I have so many great memories of being on his radio shows. He was always so supportive of the creative people he interviewed, and his work has introduced many many artists to the public. What a guy!

Our partners at Pesticide Action Network UK have uncovered that 354 tonnes of pesticides were sprayed in towns and cities in 2024.

We are in a #ButterflyEmergency, with long-term declines that need us all to take action to reduce the use of harmful chemicals, councils included.
