When I used to tutor at the public library, I would observe the librarians answering questions like this all the time. They are superheroes.
This is great work. Great. And you know what? A librarian might not know all this off the dome, but they would absolutely help you find out.
The LA Public Library research librarian explaining what is going on with Charli and Taylor is outstanding work

Why would a leader tank his own country's economy?

It's a key part of the aspiring autocrat's playbook.

Tariffs & chaos mean more power & control for Trump.

But America has no king. The Republican-led Congress can stop this at any time.

Let your reps hear from you.

This is a program for teenagers with serious disabilities who are finishing high school and transitioning to their next steps in life. Trump just axed it, effective immediately, in the middle of the night, with no notice.

This thread made me feel better today.
You can control the actions of one person. That would be you.

Asking others to step up and do things is fine. You need to pair that with meaningful, measurable action on your end.

Infinite posts saying “do something”, without an action step don’t do much.

This is a remarkable moment. Trump and Vance sit there in silence, as a bishop pleas with them to lean on their better angels and not follow through with their depraved campaign promises that target the LGBTQ+ community and immigrants.

Never seen anything like this.
Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde to Trump: "I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now. There are gay, lesbian, and transgender people in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear for their lives ... and the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals"
