Authors, Beware! There's a firm called "ClaimsHero" doing aggressive social media outreach claiming to
"help" you file to get $ in the Anthropic class action. In fact, it's a bait-and-switch, they are luring authors to sign up with them, then OPTING THEM OUT of the class action so they'll get zilch.

This. (I mean, half of me is convinced THEY didn't want to have to deal with flight delays personally.)
Whenever some sanctimonious Dem announces that America needs a functioning Republican Party, I always think “I’d settle for a functioning Democratic Party.”

The thing is, if the ACA marketplace health plans are too expensive for people, then DUH we will not be able to buy them and the risk pool will shrink and it's very possible the marketplaces collapse... So save the arguments about how the Senate didn't really care about subsidies. They should.

Real busy night fixing the end of this book while sleeping fitfully and then when I took Sally out for a 3 a.m. pee, we got to shoo off a guy who was about to break into my car. It's a Monday!

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Hey Dems? Those victories? In part because you were actually DOING SOMETHING FOR A CHANGE. Please don't back down now. We cannot live this way until the midterms. You are right to fight for health care.

Asking anyone who's got energy to do so to call their Dem Senators and urge them not to back down on healthcare. 🙏

Your friends who are too sick to work to access healthcare are going to be really fucked otherwise. Being too sick to work means no paycheck to cover now-exorbitant marketplace plans.

To the phones!
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Fuck the racism and white supremacy of this administration run by draft dodgers and losers.

True heroes lie within this thread.

Happy 3rd Publish-iversary to my first book, Viviana Valentine Gets Her Man! It has been a wild (and stressful) past three years. I didn't have as much time as I wanted to debut Viv to the world, but I'm glad there are people who love her as much as I do! www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/711852...
