The speed the universities have moved to comply with this stuff is astonishing. These are not fast moving orgs so embracing the erasure of inclusion and equity this quickly tells you about their leadership’s commitment.
"Our leaders have begun evaluating jobs and duties related to DEI and examining our DEI programming, initiatives and projects to bring all areas into compliance. In addition, we have begun removing references to DEI principles across university websites, social media and collateral materials."

1000% this. Public libraries are actually pretty radical--free to all, and based on the idea that info should be available to all. Get a library card! Use your library! Those numbers often play into their funding.
I also keep thinking that we have to support our libraries.

I keep reading Keats’s “Bright Star” over and over. It inspired a clarinet piece I’m learning, and I need both the sonnet and music in my brain and body. Also love the 2009 movie about Keats and his poem.
