Nothing radicalized me more than learning that we have SIGNIFICANTLY more empty units than homeless people. They’ve just been bought up by private equity firms and wealthy landlords.

Exactly. They're actively absorbing resources just like land owners too. There's plenty of housing (much empty) and food. So industries that only exist for the rich that could be destroyed too.

Fundamentally, I’m never going to agree with the mods of a social media site because “don’t threaten anyone, regardless of who they are” is a pretty sensible policy but I don’t agree with it.

O'Neill cylinders, like in Gundam, need to be in counter rotating pairs so procession doesn't make them wobble away from the sun and freeze the occupants in darkness.

I think I'm old enough to remember when it wasn't like this.
But at the same time, I also have to wonder if maybe I just couldn't see it at the time.
