"No one ever thought this would happen" is dishonest and journalists not pointing that out are doing you all a disservice. Many people said word for word this would happen. You just didn't respect those people. And you need to be honest instead of the feigned surprise for sympathy.

Stop fucking saying he blamed “DEI,” which is some abstract, non-tangible idea. He is blaming people of color having jobs he thinks they aren’t qualified for. He’s blaming race. He’s being racist every time he says it. Journalists need to get fucking backbones, my word.

Witnessed a fight where a disabled person asked folks to stop saying "special needs". Parents of disabled kids screamed it's a better word then disabled. A good reminder that abled parents of disabled children can do a lot of harm by assuming they know just as much about disability as the disabled.

If you're more upset with Biden being forced to consider the extraordinary step of peremptorily pardoning his own officials then you are about Trump appointing someone who’s promised to use the federal govt to exact personal retribution for Trump, then you need to think a little more critically.

Yeah. The idea that this will somehow enable Trump to do something he otherwise wouldn’t have is silly.

It looks bad. It’s also understandable. It’s only unforgivable if he doesn’t pair it with a historically huge act of clemency for a ton of people who aren’t his son.
Among others, Trump pardoned Joe Arpaio, Dinesh D’Souza, Bernard Kerik, George Papadopoulos, Charles Kushner, Roger Stone, Paul Manafort and Steve Bannon

but sure let’s run around with our hair on fire bc joe biden has set a bad precedent and undermined our precious norms

Jay Bhattacharya’s meteoric rise in the COVID denialism world has been aided by some of the nation’s most powerful right-wing think tanks and funding groups, including Council For National Policy, Hillsdale College, the Heritage Foundation and the Cato Institute.
Breaking News: Donald Trump has picked Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, an author of a pandemic-era anti-lockdown treatise, to lead the National Institutes of Health.
