Started exploring some current hardcore bands last night and holy shit that scene is rippin these days. I just want to listen to Gel on repeat but there’s also Scowl, Zulu, Destiny Bond, Snuffed, Buggin, ShyGodwin, and Thirdface to name a few.

Why are scrolling credits a thing on video games? They could actually make them interactive and it could be super cool and educational, but instead they choose to force the player to sit through and watch, waiting for it to end so they can get back to gameplay.

We caught 3 hawks hunting with a coyote on Bull Point Trail near Drakes Estero in Point Reyes the day before yesterday. In the moment, my friend thought it was Ferruginous, but now thinks it looked like Harris’s Hawk, but it’s not listed for the area. Any birders have a good guess?

There is a yimby+nimby feed here that has the chaotic energy of a sleep deprived toddler on a sugar high running with scissors.

Went camping near Santa Cruz and some folks started playing modern country music right when our speaker had died. I was sure they’d play the dog whistle song.
The next day we were leaving and saw they were flying a blue lives matter flag at their site.
I’m now adding skunk oil to my packing kit.
