The King in Yellow, Yog-Sothoth, The Giants from In the Hulls, The Cities, and The Judge from Blood Meridian.
What's your favourite monster/creature from literature? I'm thinking Tuunbaq from Dan Simmon's The Terror, the triffids from Wyndham's Day of the Triffids, the demon from M.R. James' Casting The Runes, Grendel, Pennywise, etc.

Really curious what the average heart rate of someone watching Sorcerer looks like.
Watching something nice and relaxing on my day off.

No work tomorrow, so I'll be staying up late tonight reading books and watching movies like High School me on a Friday Night. As I was definitely a Cool Guy in High School.

Sure, you could watch Frankenstein from your couch, OR you could support you local theater, see it on the big screen, and drink in all the details Guillermo Del Toro packed into every shot.

Never seen so much milk drank on screen as in Frankenstein.

Detroit could have had this with the slide of Belle Isle but noooo it had to be made "safe."
I love that the Boston cop slide never got fixed and now people just willingly go down it in tribute. It’s basically a national landmark at this point

And that's all she wrote.
If the sandwich don’t split, you must acquit
Defense says that the officer's testimony was "very questionable" because he said the sandwich both exploded in spray of mustard and onions and also landed in its wrapper on the ground.

One of my favorite parts about Shin Godzilla is how every single bureaucrat, no matter their postion or how small their role is, gets a brief title card on who they are and what their very specific role is.
Got a very fitting package in the mail on Godzilla Day.

A few days ago I said to my fiancée something along the lines of "this is like if Hallmark made a Halloween movie," and folks. They are doing just that.
