This is one of the weaknesses of civility politics, it falls for the form. That humiliating content farming is debate-shaped, we have to treat it as legitimate! Fox News is news-shaped, we have to treat it as legitimate! The Free Press is newspaper-shaped. etc etc.

I am not sure if they were lazy, incompetent or having a laugh, but the delivery guys did what I can only call an amazing job leveling my dryer, barely screwing in the feet and then trying to shim it to not rock. Easy to fix anyway.

A lot of the Make America Healthy Again movement makes more sense when you realize a large swath of America conflates being healthy with making moral choices, and sees being unhealthy as a moral failing
Republicans are doing this because they want gay men and transgender women to contract HIV. They believe that dying of AIDS is a deserved punishment for having gay sex, just as they think that forced childbirth is a deserved punishment for sexually active women. This is not especially complicated.
Sorry, but we now have a once-per-six-months PrEP injection with a 96% efficacy in reducing HIV infections, and the response is to limit PrEP to only pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers? What?!
It's going to be much more expensive to provide lifelong treatment than work on prevention.
