I wonder how much more productivity we’d get in Ottawa if OC Transpo worked.

Years ago we had the mayor bike to school with my 6 year old, within the first :30 seconds they were almost hit by a driver on live TV.
Every leader should be required to ride a bike (if able) with a 6 year old before they provide any direction on bike infrastructure.

you know what i'd rather see? powerplays. home team gets to pick if they want the powerplay first or if they want to kill first. if they don't score, play stops at 2 minutes and the opposing team gets a powerplay. they can win the game with a goal. shorthanded goal wins the game automatically.

This suggests that policies that make e-bikes more available and policies that support greater use of e-bikes, including protected bike lanes, etc., would have a dramatic effect on reducing traffic congestion and reducing automobile dependency.
The “E-Bike Effect:” Those who bought e-bikes increased their average daily bicycle use from 2.1km (1.3 miles) to 9.2km (5.7 miles), a 340% increase. The e-bike share of all their transportation increased dramatically too; from 17% to 49%. Via Treehugger

E-Bikers Ride Much Farther and More Frequently Than Regular Bikers
They are not 'cheating,' but are serious transportation.
