Finished @sgj.bsky.social’s The Buffalo Hunter Hunter training to a frigid Wisconsin, feeling even more immersed in the final chapters. And dang, few authors know their characters as well as SGJ. My favorite book this year.

Surprised to hear @sgj.bsky.social also unknowingly joined a game of Stand in the Field While Someone Shoots an Arrow Straight Up as a kid. If their arrow vanished in TX like ours in WI, maybe there’s a pincushion cloud floating around trying to save us from ourselves.
