Insane to think that 'Gavin & Stacey' started with 0.5M viewers on BBC3 in 2007 and then grew to see an audience of 20M during Christmas 2024.
I certainly hope it's a wake-up call to the TV industry to invest more in small-scale sit-coms, not just to nurture new talent but to keep costs down.
