If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general.

If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

Incompetence in Washington puts every American at risk, no matter how you voted. No one should be happy that the DOGE team - the same folks who randomly published classified U.S. security information online today - wants access to your bank account & Social Security numbers.

I am really frustrated that the press is discussing the destruction of USAID as something that has happened rather than an illegal action that will likely be undone in two weeks when courts tell the world that it was illegal.

It's impossible to please everyone. The question is whether you're disappointing the right people.

Part of setting healthy boundaries is deciding who you're willing to let down.

What will the future of the warming stripes be?

2024 could be the start of a stabilisation of global temperatures, or it might appear to be a cool year.

Which one of these stories becomes reality depends on our choices today, and every day until then.

We are likely to regret not acting sooner.

Definitely not the norm, but I had several years of my career where this was the case. Something to aspire to.
In toxic cultures, being a workaholic is normalized and sacrificing sleep is glorified. The best way to get ahead is to burn out.

In healthy cultures, quality of life is expected and having a life is celebrated. You're encouraged to put your well-being above your work.

The median age of first-time homebuyers hit 38 last year, up from 29 in 1981. It’s not the only milestone once common by 30 that’s now delayed.

While millennials face criticism for their choices, the truth lies in structural challenges today that didn’t exist for their parents in the 1980s.
