Right, this is true, but the OVERWHELMING evidence of the past 100 years of American life is that vastly more people want expensive brand-new shoes, than buying used ones at a thrift store. This is why the suburban shoestore population has grown relentlessly for the entire 20th and 21st century

Some people put a premium on space in my experience, others put a premium on not having to have a car and not being isolated out in the suburbs

I don't like the rapid-pace tv debate style. Nothing gets to be answered in depth. If there's an average voter watching it, i think they come away less-informed about the candidates than they go in. Only if someone completely flames out would anyone feel swayed.
