Bumbling through it like everyone else. If you've got it figured out, spare me the details.

I'm mostly worried about getting my kids out the door into a world that isn't on fire in some way shape or other.

My son figured out how to do mazes by hacking the psychology of the maze designers.

With TikTok on the way out @bsky.app should release a video side of this app. It would grow like fire.

This is perhaps my favorite picture book to read to the kids. If you ever see it at the library check it out immediately!

A friend asked where the one F bomb for PG-13 movies should go in LoTR:

"Three were given to the Elves; immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings. Seven, to the Dwarf Lords, great miners and craftsmen of the mountain halls. And nine... nine f*_* rings were gifted to the race of Men [...]"

A while ago I played Believable Lies (a game where you had to make up facts). The prompt was 'giraffe necks'.

I wrote "Baby giraffes are able to stand up before their heads are born."

I'll never see giraffes the same way again.

A good example of a privilege people don't realize they have is being able to take off a winter hat and have even sexier hair, rather than it looking like a toupee that was found on a beach.

My kids, whenever they are playing pretend and something needs to explode, yell, "Fire in the hole! Fire in the hole! Fire in the hole!"

Which is strangely professional sounding. Turns out they got it from the Slow Mo Guys 😂

The problem with battle royal games is that I'm good enough to last a long time but not good enough to close out the end consistently. Iteration time is high.

Signing the kids up for Minecraft realms and seeing the volume of content that I will probably have to content filter, read, comprehend, and explain to my 5yo was staggering.

There is a certain point every winter where the cold and dark set in and make me just want to not do anything ever again except sit with warm drinks and friends.

It just snowed here and it's too early for hibernation! I have a job!

In order to dismiss vigilante justice you need to either argue that it wasn't justice or that it shouldn't have been applied through vigilantism because there is a functional process inside the system.

The problem is that the govt is asserting the first and isn't even trying on the latter.
