KEEP SHARING YOUR STORIES about increased ACA premiums due to the disappearance of subsidies. The stories clearly are having an impact, they help people feel less helpless, and they create solidarity that leads to action.

Mine went from $395→ $821. What happened for you?

If Republicans rip away the ACA tax credits, her premiums will triple — and she’ll lose the care keeping her cancer at bay.

one thing i find crazy-making is the idea that getting rid of the filibuster would make congress a purely majoritarian institution. bicameralism itself is counter-majoritarian! equal state representation is counter-majoritarian! the fact that senate elections are staggered is counter-majoritarian!

Evergreen: there has never been and never will be a credible Trump/GOP Congress plan to repeal & replace the ACA. The only plan has always been repealing/deeply cutting the ACA coverage expansions & cutting rest of #Medicaid to help pay for tax cuts for the wealthy. That’s what HR 1 did this summer.

Without enhanced premium tax credits bronze plans for less than $50 per month are almost completely gone for 40-year-olds by 300% FPL in FFM states. #ACA

KFF most certainly did not retract that projection (114% increase in average net premiums). The only way that changes is if Congress extends the subsidy enhancements.

FWIW, take a look at the numbers in WV for applicants just a little above 400% of FPL: www.healthinsurance.org/aca-marketpl...

But what if you downgrade your plan to avoid rate hikes instead?

#ACA market landscape in 2026 if enhanced subsides aren't extended

1. Subsidized bronze plans will cost more than subsidized silver plans were in 2025 in many rating areas

2. Consumers over 400% FPL get no subsidies at all

3. Catastrophic plans offer little relief
