Good choice. Kirkus Prize finalist too. Maybe it'll be dismissed a little for being about toxic masculinity and who needs to know more about that? But I thought it gave nuance to a subject that doesn't often get it.

Going to college in Wisconsin meant being surrounded by people whose parents died on the Edmund Fitzgerald and who felt persecuted by *that song* but who wouldn't—couldn't—talk about that time, so you came to know the feeling of inexplicable loss, but no details, which I guess is appropriate.
