Yes. Here's another idea that's taking hold near me: street corner protests. We're going to host one on our corner on a fairly busy street every Friday for an hour now on out. Neighbors, with our protests signs, drinking a wine or a beer together, fighting for democracy and building community.

I quit Amazon and Target in January. I know conscious consumerism and capitalism don’t really mix, but every time I find a new source for something I need feels like a tiny victory against evil.
