I wonder what the immigrant parents of those MPs on both sides of the House who attack migrants think of their offspring. Do they remember how it was to land friendless in a strange country & attempt to build a new life for themselves & their families? If so maybe they should tell their children.

Confiscating jewellery from survivors of a war zone makes you look like a fucking Nazi. And the obscene thing is, that is the intention. It's there to look appropriately harsh. Indecent. Filthy. A moral stain. And no-one of good character would have ever proposed such a thing in the first place.
