Even if this is true the people who spouse this are at the end of the day unwilling to put themselves in the position to be brutalized and always expect others to be. So it ultimately useless advice
An important distinction here is that powerful dominant groups have way more latitude to use extreme tactics than marginalized subordinate groups.

I'm a believer in nonviolent resistance for moral reasons, and I think it can be incredibly powerful when well-planned and sustained, but don't tell me violence doesn't work. The people successfully rolling back my rights were sending bomb threats to children's hospitals.

GOOD MORNING/EVENING/NIGHT
I had the brain worm of needed to do #Battletech Naval Engagement scale rules since the old ones are... hard to find and obtuse.
So this uses mostly just Total Warfare rules, the existing TROs and makes them easier to understand and manage.
As well has squadrons!
