Appears the Trump admin’s reduction in force has hit housing hard this evening.

Reports that all CDFI fund staff have been let go. HUD appears to have lost 442 staff.

Yet another federal cut that will make providing affordable housing in the US all the more challenging.

US DOT is putting another transit project on hold—the Red Line Extension in Chicago—because the transit authority pursued Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals as part of the project, which the DOT claims are discriminatory.

The thing is, US DOT & Congress put DBE in place.

Families paid even more last month for groceries, electricity, and rent.

Trump promised to lower costs on “day one.” Instead, his tariffs and failed economic agenda are raising prices.

He must reverse course — working families can’t afford 3 more years of broken promises.

Republicans at federal, state, and local elections are working to steal the 2026 (and future) election(s).

What we must do is engage our electeds now and demand our states do not comply with DOJ data requests AND harden election laws as outlined in the US constitution. More in video below ⬇️
NEW VIDEO: As the DOJ is collecting sensitive voter data around the country and the GOP ups the stakes with their gerrymandering efforts in Texas, I am concerned what is going on is being overlooked.
