I'm not saying it would change much but I do kind of wish reporters with access would repeatedly, like every day, ask Republicans in Congress why they have decided that blatant corruption of the sort that has been consensus illegal for centuries is now basically entirely legal for this one guy.

Reasonable standard, akin to the main idea behind 880Cities.org. Design for 8 year olds and 80 year olds and cities will work for everyone.
That's pretty much our approach here in Montreal (I'm a borough councillor).
When we build new bike path, the question we ask ourselves (and our teams) is "Would you be comfortable letting your 10-year-old use it if he was alone".
If not, we have to go back to the drawing board.
