So I went to a local vendor fair today and ran across a guy who does custom etching/engraving and I happened to have my feder in my car. I will admit the metaphor is a bit more blunt on a sword instead of a guitar.

I know fewer local people on here but if you live in Alabama and in particular are in driving distance to Birmingham, the APT board of directors is meeting to decide whether to cut PBS, if you can make it out on Tuesday to show them how important PBS is to you it would be very helpful.

It wasn't even a trade for magic beans. It was a trade for entirely mundane beans, possibly past their expiration date. Explicitly labeled as such, bargain bin, should've been thrown out weeks ago. The worst beans you've ever seen.
UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

There is a crime here that goes beyond denunciation. Any Dem presidential hopeful who fails to campaign on trials for all of these bastards and not resting until they're buried under the jail is completely morally bankrupt.
DSA feed is always a joy to follow because these days it's a mix of DSA people posting cool positive stuff and the weirdest anti-DSA people with grievances and lore about the org that are at least 70% made up. I learned today that apparently Bernie Sanders is a member (?) and AOC was but left(??)
