Librarian, Knowledge Manager, Data Protection Officer and Records Manager. Let me know if I can be of any further help.

Bored, so I thought I'd 🧵 my #DoctorWho and professional #library, knowledge management, records management and book related passions together, and chart the occurrences they appear in the time travelling programme. No doubt I've missed some, so please let me know.
I had a dream last night where I saved a local community library and I've woken up in a good mood.

I'd assumed after all these years that Bond/007 was a pseudonym/job role, hence different actors playing him (and therefore, anyone could play him). I didn't realise it was meant to be the same person.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

It’s getting to that point in my life where I’m starting to think if there’s actually been anything good on the television since Alexei Sayle’s Stuff 🤔
Alexei Sayle's Stuff (9th November 1989). The latest teenage craze is a rather unexpected one.

And Pete Murray has a complaint from 1960.

The reason I love archive TV so much is that you wouldn't have a hope in hell's chance of having something like The Journey (1977) made or shown today; George Melly reminiscing about surrealism. Most TV is now so anodyne. Arena, Art and Design: The Journey: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m002k96l
Arena - Art and Design: The Journey
Singer and writer George Melly takes a walk from his home in north London to the Hayward Gallery, reminiscing along the way about the influence of surrealism on his early life.

I think it's about time this programme was repeated, BBC Four, particularly in light of this week's sad news about Gilson Lavis. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b...

Well why can't they time travel back to now so that I can see them? That's just rude.
Plot twist - Missing Doctor Who episodes are missing because they were recovered by time travelling fans hoping to save them before they went missing.

I hadn't heard about this - the BBC is restricting access to its written archives. It feels like part of the bigger picture of shutting down anything that is a positive for producing and preserving knowledge in the UK.
