Everyone really needs to understand that he feels no compunction to be bound by any laws, any norms, the respect for the dignity of others.

There are no limits.

Apropos of something, I really don’t understand how anyone looks around in 2025 and decides that the path forward is unanimity on anything, let alone a master plan for a whole country.

Jen’s advocacy on this deserves recognition. Very important work.
Announcement from PM Carney moments ago and this is good news. I've been working on this issue with @saulschwartz.bsky.social and @agenestgregoire.bsky.social for years. We've documented how many Canadians don't file and miss out on or loose benefits, .. 1/3

If Trump wants to signs an EO on H-1Bs raising "the fee that companies pay to sponsor H1-B applicants to $100,000", we shld be making a play to get companies to set up shop up here to locate that talent.

From my colleague: letting the FCC set itself up as some sort of Ministry of Truth would damage the First Amendment.

"If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is I don't know."

The guy who said that wants to be the guy who says the other side is the side stoking hate and violence.

Trump’s tacit admission last week that he’s lost India and Russia to China and N Korea and now Russia taunting the west with this is really not good.

Gobsmacking.
Atwood, Laurence, Munro and Angelou are all on this list.
Well, the list of books being banned from EPSB is appalling. And it's very likely that an author on this list will get their other works pulled too, especially in the absence of teacher librarians.

There are books on this list that changed my life. This is what the UCP is taking away from kids.

This has been a bit coming, but it is critically important: domestic vaccine production capacity.

Right on.
I mentioned to a couple of people that I had a surprise waiting to be shared when Moderna got approval for its updated COVID-19 vaccine. It’s approved, and the big news??? Completely produced domestically!!!!! 🥳🤩

Approved as usual for all aged 6mo+!

A terrible assumption made in a lot policy/political punditry is to assess whether some decision or action has achieved an improved outcome in comparaison to the status quo, ignoring that the status quo may have gotten worse in the absence of said decision or action. 🤷‍♂️
