The problem I'm having switching fully from Threads to @bsky.app is the lack of a true "For you" feed. Threads always seems to know what I want to see -- a good mix of content that was posted since I last loaded the app. On Bluesky, I have to scroll through a bunch of newer stuff I care less about.

I can confirm it sounds MUCH BETTER. It’s not perfect but then again they didn’t put B&W speakers in it. Still it went from how could they possibly have shipped this to hey this sounds pretty darn good.

Also yes the UI is much snappier. Thank you @rivianofficial.bsky.social!

Exactly why @bsky.app is so important. Engaging on this platform is important. As is growing this platform.

Which one of these men joins Tom Anderson and MySoace in the annals of history first ?

Their greed is our opportunity.
It is not free speech when Trump aligned oligarchs have their thumbs on the algorithms of all the social media apps.

Far too many people are normalizing Trump & his team. They say it isn’t going to be so bad. They say it’s all just talk & performance.

It’s not just talk. It’s not just performance. It’s real.

When people tell you who they are, believe them.

Whatever one thinks of the TikTok ban, this is pure authoritarianism:

1. The Leader suspends a law he has no legal power to suspend.

2. The Leader orchestrates new ownership of a major media platform he will now control.

3. The major media platform commits to be a mouthpiece uplifting the Leader.

The Wall Street Journal says there will be a splashy ICE operation in Chicago on Tuesday.

While the headline is lurid, the actual operation described in the piece (100-200 agents) seems not that unusual for ICE (google Operation Cross-check). Expect a PR blitz, though.
