Not a bad morning's birding in the frost. A Kestrel and a pair of Peregrines. The Peregrines are overwintering birds but the Kes is a resident. #lowcarbonbirding #birds #birding

In west Wales, Storm Force 10 (>55mph) and, in Aberdaron, Violent Storm Force 11 (>64mph).

Winter birds are certainly turning up now. Two Redpolls and a Blackcap in the garden today, along with a Song Thrush.

Where have all the Cinnabar Moths gone? I haven't seen any in Stourbridge for about three years. Ragwort plants are all empty of the yellow and black larvae. Suspect this species is in real trouble.
