If a system leaves women sitting in her bloodied underwear because she can no longer pay the care worker that used to help her get to the toilet, it is one no MP should be backing.

Police have destroyed documents relating to the Battle of Orgreave in 1984 during the miners’ strike, which is the subject of a forthcoming official inquiry.

We should all be concerned about plans to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist group.
Targeting non-violent protesters in this way is a misuse of terrorism-related powers.
It sets a dangerous precedent, which governments in future could further use against their critics.

At a narrow bridge I noticed the car flashing me through had an reg ending in LBW. Rather than giving the standard hand raise of thanks, I gave an umpire single finger "out" signal. They replied with a 4 runs arm wave. One of the greatest human interactions of my life.
