I remember learning in school about the concentration camps set up for ethnic Japanese people on the West Coast duing WWII.

I wondered, how did people let their neighbors get taken away? What fever or mania had gripped the country?

I don't wonder anymore.

This is the Christian nationalist who assassinated Speaker Hortman and her husband.

The photo in the cowboy hat was caught on security footage during the killing rampage.

He was wearing the hat and a long sleeved shirt.

Please share. This assassin is still on the loose.

It’s not hyperbole to say that the deaths in Minnesota are on the GOP’s hands. They’ve built this political environment and they’ve allowed a demagogue to spread hate. This is entirely on them.

This is very true. And brings me to ask, once again, what are people who are smart enough to spot the eugenics in this argument doing to avoid giving Covid to vulnerable people?
The deeper meaning behind "almost no healthy children die of the measles" is that, when children do die of the measles, it's only ever because they were already ill. And the deeper meaning behind that is "well, we can't save 'em all." And that's just...17th century thinking.

Ignoring a Supreme Court ruling to facilitate Kilmar Abrego Garcia's return isn't just cruel; it's unconstitutional.
