Had a horrible run recently of people talking, in some cases nearly screaming, during almost every single movie I’ve seen in theaters recently. I dunno if people have just completely forgotten how to act or what but it’s made me apprehensive about going! Which sucks! Because I love movie theaters!

I want people to displace the imaginary depictions of *revolutions* that they have come to create in their heads with the actual small revolutionary acts that happen daily. We might get closer to revolution that way.

In New Orleans, I always encourage folks to support the smallest, most direct service orgs, and that goes for food programs, too. Community Kitchen, Trans Income Project, and NOLA Cans 4 Food are all feeding people without a lot of nonprofit nonsense. Find them on instagram, give money and/or time!

Have you noticed plane turbulence is getting worse?

It’s not your imagination. It’s climate change.
Our new study finds that the upper atmosphere is becoming more sheared and less stratified because of climate change. Both these changes are making the air less stable and more conducive to turbulence.
