NEW:

In 2024, Tierra Walker was sick and getting sicker. She was also pregnant.

She knew abortion was illegal in Texas, but thought there was an exception for women like her, whose health was at risk. Doctors told her there was no emergency.

Then she died.

“Ticking Time Bomb”: A Pregnant Mother Kept Getting Sicker. She Died After She Couldn’t Get an Abortion in Texas.
Walker is one of several women ProPublica found with underlying health conditions who died when they couldn’t access abortions.

more guts then the " men"
This is the reporter that Donald Trump called "Piggy." She is Catherine Lucey, currently with Bloomberg.

I don't think it is a coincidence that, back in 2018, Lucey was the first reporter to ask Trump about Stormy Daniels. Trump responded with a lie, but, clearly, did not forget the question.

Can anyone explain
why that vast body
of incriminating evidence
'the Epstein files'
needs Government approval to be used to prosecute those implicated?

"Research and development...is the main driver of productivity.

Australian government is however one of the worst funders of R&D across all advanced economies"

But it's one of the 'best' funders of:
- huge tax concessions to the wealthy
- stupid subsidies for fossil fuels
- the dud #AUKUS deal.

Ed Husic grills ANZ CEO Nuno Matos & asks how it’s fair that ANZ ripped off 65K customers & the worst punishment received by Senior Execs was not getting a bonus, while at same time the bank is sacking 3500 workers who didn’t do a thing wrong.
Matos says he’s not proud about it. #Estimates

Taken out by the mean streets of Montmartre, a weekend away in the French countryside becomes a spiritual and physical battle for survival. My newsletter update: rick-morton.ghost.io/no-genou-is-...
No Genou is Bad News
This horror story begins with a wandering brass band; my sirens. I will follow a brass band anywhere. There is just something about the way a tuba cuts a shape on the horizon – so brash, so untoward ...

It really is a staggering disappointment to watch how countries across the globe simply acquiesce to this miscreant's whims.

Trade, the sharing of intelligence, diplomatic niceties, allowing US troops on sovereign territory...

By its inaction, the world is saying, "Sure. This is fine. Carry on."

This is a remarkable video . Gough Whitlam was in fine form here . He dissected the press and corrected the narrative shamefully peddled by the right.

He got elected after saying he grabs women by the pussy. Of course he thinks he’s free to say “Quiet piggy” to a female reporter asking about his participation in an underage sex trafficker’s ring.

Did you know that the PR agency for #COP30 also works for fossil fuel companies like Shell?

We made a meditation app to help them sleep at night.

40% of women aged 15 to 44 say they would emigrate from the US permanently if they had the opportunity.

A country run by religious nutters bent on controlling female bodies, misogynistic techbros, rape apologists, and men obsessed with killing things? Seems fair.
