The situtation for Europe with the Trump administration in the US is grave. While the new security strategy is very troubling to read, I am glad they wrote it so clearly, as I think it aligns very well with the actions we’ve seen from the American government the last year.

The situtation for Europe with the Trump administration in the US is grave. While the new security strategy is very troubling to read, I am glad they wrote it so clearly, as I think it aligns very well with the actions we’ve seen from the American government the last year.

The 🇺🇸 Nat Sec Strategy is celebrated by the Kremlin. It's no surprise, as Trump and Putin share largely the same world view. They want a weak and divided Europe they can dominate. That's the reality we're facing and the reality we MUST handle. Failure is not an option!

Trump is the most openly corrupt president in American history, and that makes it extra difficult to interpret what's happening when he makes seemingly unexplainable decisions. It's a big problem if the European press won't discuss this issue.

Russia pulls forces/proxies out of Ukraine—all of it—and removes offensive weapons from regions bordering Ukraine.
Pays for all war damage—and reconstruction.
All Russians engaged in war crimes stand trial.
And Ukraine can join any alliance it damn well pleases.
