Am I the only one who think the Irish government needs to establish a ministry for technology? Technology is so pervasive now, it has real and long last effects on society including and not limited to AI, Crypto, social media, porn, drones, gene therapy, nuclear. All these and more need proper focus
Glad to see it’s not been broadcast either. Right decision and unfortunate that RTE and others were put in this situation.
Ireland will not participate in next year's Eurovision Song Contest, and it will not be broadcast by RTÉ, after the European Broadcasting Union confirmed that Israel will be allowed to take part
Broadcasters to decide on Eurovision participation
Several European broadcasters are expected to announce whether or not they will take part in next year's Eurovision Song Contest over the coming days.

Our front page looks a little different this morning, and that’s because we have decided to publish a timeline of the so-called 'ceasefire' in Gaza, as Benjamin Netanyahu’s brutal apartheid regime continues to claim lives 👇

Funnily enough, I'm off to an exhibition celebrating more than 40 yrs of an artists studio space in Temple Bar this evening. Something made possible only cos the scrappy space artists found & made for themselves in an unloved part of the city in 1982 was saved by a grand vision for the city

And...
The tenants of "The Complex" the brilliant arts space just off Capel St Stop are being evicted in January and the city can't afford to lose yet *another* cultural space.

Please sign & share the petition to save The Complex

It’s good that this is finally being reported. Successive governments, including ones with a Green component, have been complicit with big business (agribusiness, packaging industry, big tech) in a 3 Card Monty to conceal our catastrophic environmental performance from the public.

The one year anniversary of Yoon's failed martial law takeover just passed and lots of untold stories came out proving that THE ONLY REASON KOREA IS STILL A FREE COUNTRY IS BECAUSE PEOPLE DISOBEYED ILLEGAL ORDERS.

The coup was over in hours because people said no.

Sometimes when I give interviews about Little Deer and DCAF I say Dublin is actively hostile to local events and small businesses and this is another example of that.
This would make it the 6th (!!) venue since we started in 2017 that DCAF lost due to the venue closing (or no longer hosting events).

Glad Schumer finally woke up to recognize war crimes.

Meanwhile as Israeli military continues to commit genocide with US weapons & tax dollars—Schumer remains silent.

Do you see how your hypocrisy enables these war crimes, Chuck? Do Corporate Dems see how their silence on genocide enables this?
