Despite staggering evidence of waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicare Advantage, Donald Trump gave these for-profit insurers another $25 billion after they cozied up to him.

He gave them more money to keep ripping you off.
Health Insurer Stocks Soar on Medicare Rate Boost
Medicare Advantage plans will get a 5.06% rate increase, well above the 2.23% bump that the Biden administration proposed.

So Sen. Slotkin wants to cut the Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR). That’s just what it sounds like. It’s calculated to be the lowest wage possible to pay foreign guest workers, without having an adverse effect on American wages.

Respectfully asking @slotkin.senate.gov: what the fresh hell is this?
Instead of fighting to protect American workers, Elissa Slotkin told us she’s decided to work with the GOP to make it easier and cheaper to import vulnerable foreign guest workers.

How does THAT add up to a “war plan” against Trump?

"dei medal" you might as well just put "n*gger medal" because that's what they mean to say
This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.

Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."

The only way to keep your footing in a time of constant gaslighting is to approach every action with the question, “who benefits from this?”

Sure, MAGA gets a kick out of doing shit just to hurt people, but cruelty on its face doesn’t always make money.

Every action. Ask who benefits.

This was all too real with Steward in our state: private equity companies are vampires, sucking out value from our health care system and funneling it to their investors. And patients suffer.

This is a great report, and I have a bill to stop private equity's abusive practices.
