I don't know what this means, but I'm the one who wrote a fully updated, 624-page hurricane response plan at FEMA that took over 2 years of work and careful coordination among state and federal agencies. He could start by studying that.

Found this in the dog bed- haven’t found which piece of furniture lost some support structure. Taking these moments to laugh and shake off the feelings of impending doom. Showed a stranger kindness and watched another do the same. Kindness is a type of resistance. It’s all I have right now to offer.

This is a photo of my bulldog asleep in a classic bully pose which when I sent it to my sister to laugh at my phone told me was inappropriate and then asked me if I felt safe and gave me some numbers to use as resources. I don’t actually know how to feel about this or anything else. But here it is.
