Why I love sword & sorcery:
Sometimes protagonists aren't able to fix the world. Sometimes they're not even able to see the problems with it. Sometimes they're just trying to survive. Sometimes they're even part of the problem.
The writer isn't the society and the writer isn't the protagonist.

So the Sword & Sorcery revival in short fiction as looked at over the course of ten years: A Thread.

The baseline in 2015 was approximately 50 slots, as Swords & Sorcery did three slots a month, and Heroic Fantasy Quarterly did 3-4 slots per issue (I know they had the occasional reprint).

Book 1 Release Date! 1/27/2026

I have an official release date for book 1 of Oathbreaker, which is a professionally edited and proofread version of arc 1 of the web series. It will be released on Kindle and Audible, and narrated by Raphael Corkhill.

Pre-orders should go up a few weeks before.
