You know a church hasn’t learned from past experiences of abuse/misconduct when they refuse to accept responsibility for harm they cause today. It’s always somebody else’s fault. Their response solidifies the abuse and packs on more hurt and harm. this is life in an evangelical church.

In 2016 I believed it was time for change. By 2020 I knew we needed change for the positive & I began to open my eyes. I never would have imagined in 2025 I would admire AOC, Salwell, or Booker. So thankful for their leadership.
