Heaven's Vault is in my top games of all time. Every new place really is a wild adventure as you piece together the history. I am not surprised at all that it was inspired by Doctor Who (but with more consistent worldbuilding).

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

Anyone else disappointed that there was no rapture? It would have been a win-win. The evangelicals would get what they wanted, and when they were all gone maybe we could get something useful done. I mean, yeah, it would start the apocalypse or whatever, but I think overall our odds would improve.

I've said before that I wish people would tag their NSFW posts because I don't want to see them.

The solution to my problem will never be banning sexual content. NSFW artists, sex workers, and casual kink-posters are all part of this community and deserve to be here.

I sat through a bunch of presentations by 5th graders and for some of them I can't tell whether they're using weird, stilted phrasing because they heard it somewhere but don't know the correct usage or if they used AI to write their scripts. God I hope it's the first one.

It's taken 24 hours, 5 trips to 2 hardware stores, and a sprained wrist, but I have successfully replaced all the water filters in the new house. I don't know if the water will ever taste as good as it did at the old house, but it's an improvement.

It really bothers me when people say "I lied" when what they mean is "I was wrong." Usually it's with low stakes things like remembering minor details. Why is this a thing? It's okay to admit that you were wrong! Why are they more comfortable claiming to be a liar than admitting they made a mistake?
