Since Polygon is leaving it out of the headline: Epic Games partnered with The Game Awards to put money into the pocket of a bigot who uses her wealth to further the genocide of trans people through lawsuits and legislation. Every 'free' game gives money directly to JKR, and they are complicit.

There are overarching accessibility problems in the Metroidvania genre, and Hollow Knight: Silksong is just perpetuating and reinforcing inaccessible barriers.

Steam keeps the accessibility news coming, as the latest beta includes new accessibility features.

It includes UI scaling, high contrast, and reduce motion for SteamOS and Big Picture Mode. For SteamOS, there are also color modes, and a screen reader.

Would you release a game without announcing the PC specs required to run it, without accessibility information disabled gamers don’t know if they will actually be able to play your games!

It is no different, release accessibility information as soon as possible
We’re months away from some of the biggest games of the year dropping and still not any mention of accessibility for

The Outer Worlds 2
