The bigger question is whether it’s an Oxford comma, a Harvard comma or, in fact, a serial comma.
I was taught to always avoid the Oxford comma by Mrs Nelson, my year 4 primary school teacher and a formidable dominatrix.
But seriously, I love the Oxford Comma. So I made a starter pack of other serial comma aficionados. And I'll keep adding to it as I find more members of Team Oxford Comma . . .

Perhaps it’s all those wafers they hand out on Sundays?
Unless I am missing something, isn’t it each country’s responsibility to secure its own borders against unauthorised entry, rather than for another country to prevent its citizens from leaving?
I’m old enough to remember having told people that electing an ill, ignorant, and impulsive idiot to the presidency would be bad

Worse than that is when it ends on a cliffhanger and you then discover that the series was cancelled!
Always sucks when you hit the finale of a tv show you’ve been binge watching for comfort.

Are we to assume that the so-called ‘special relationship’ is dead - or at least in serious trouble?

Isn’t this what the National Trust is for? A historic treasure should not be the preserve of one man and his family.

That brought back a happy childhood memory - the wonderful Patrick Troughton in The Box of Delights. I may have to track that down for a trip down memory lane.
Every Christmas I watch three things. K9 and Company, The League of Gentlemen Christmas special and in the lead up Christmas, The Box of Delights. This year I’ll be watching in HD!

I tend not to form a view for a while, so for now I’ll say Matt Smith, followed by Tom Baker (my first Doctor). Ncuti is rising up the ranks fast, however.

Another thing I love about the National Trust is using them in place of motorway services for long family trips. There’s almost always a cafe, decent loos and some *actual* fresh air.

I cannot adequately describe how much I love a National Trust secondhand bookshop. The anticipation of what I might find… The joy of scanning the shelves… The smell of the books… The enjoyment of the previous readers that is absorbed by each book. It’s a heady combination.
