What happened today?
1) employees figured out our RIF policy was removed. Scary.
2) no one seems to know why the all employee call was cancelled yesterday.
3) we got a new telework policy that basically says, “just don’t” unless we can’t provide you heat and water at the office.

I find it perfectly convincing that corporatists think a few thousand deaths is a reasonable calculus for a lower corporate tax rate, rubber stamping of merger approvals, and zero enforcement of environmental/labor/consumer protection regs
Again, I don't understand why Fortune 500 & Wall Street CEOs are silent about this. "They want low taxes" & "they're in the tank for Trump" are not convincing explanations. Or, if they are, then they're idiots & we never should have treated them as savvy business genius Masters Of The Universe.

Every activism movement in history has made space for humor, music, art, gratitude, and beauty. It centers you and reminds you what you’re fighting for. Being relentlessly miserable is just a recipe for burnout and giving up.
I know our country is on fire. I know Trump is bad and is doing very bad things, and I often address those things with posts and reposts. But if I post a joke about my kid or my dog or a pleasant experience at a diner, don’t scold me for not exclusively talking politics 24/7. Please just ignore me.
