It only takes a VERY tiny amount of snow to make a person on a e-bike slip and crash and I wish I did not have the kind of brain that blasts that fact through my ears on repeat when I have to get on my e-bike and leave for rehearsal soon on this cold morning with a tiny amount of snow on the ground

Thinking about Australian/Aotearoan fairy bread, I should retroactively swallow all those disdainful remarks about USians eating cookies and cake for breakfast when there's like six varieties of fairy bread that are considered a nice traditional part of Dutch breakfast.

I was reading a thing and it said "Murder is not an acceptable subplot!" and thought ya, true, murder should always be the MAIN plot but then I realized it said "acceptable SOLUTION" and not subplot and I like that the fundamental truth of the statement was still there with either word.

Food insecurity is ALWAYS a political choice. Famine is ALWAYS manmade. People go hungry because of other people’s decisions. We have more than enough food for everyone, and enormous amounts of it are wasted—literally thrown in the garbage—on purpose.

Hot take: if you play D&D, and on encountering any piece of furniture anywhere or any object anywhere you did not expect in that particular place, your reaction is anything other than "IT'S A MIMIC", you are Lawful. You simply cannot call yourself Chaotic if you trust the objects to be objects.

Paper books may fall apart after circa six dozen read-throughs and then it's a bit of a nuisance having to keep the loose pages together but at least they don't suddenly refuse to let you turn the page because of a "server timeout" or whatever
