I would also look at what we are currently spending money on and get a definition of success for those programs as well. If they are not delivering as expected, I would cut those programs as well. We need to ensure we have hired enough Fire Fighters and Police Officers based on national benchmarks. We also need to prosecute crime. We have all seen if there is not a deterrent crime rates go up. As a healthcare administrator, I would look at other cities best practices to find proven methods of public safety to utilize in our city as well. Its not ok. It is non of my business what you chose to identify, but biological males should not compete against females in sports. It is unethical. Furthermore, giving them access to the girls restrooms and locker rooms does not leave our young women feeling safe and secure. We can find alternatives for those males who identify as females to have a safe environment for them that does not compromise the safety and security of the females.
