I ordered a backup Pilot Vanishing Point since my current one is nearing 10 years old and looking a bit worn out. I guess I'm feeling a bit sentimental about that specific fountain pen..? What a workhorse, though. I haven't looked back at any of my other FPs ever since I switched to this one.

but dang, changing this theme to a monthly/yearly subscription (without a lifetime one-time purchase, which i'd gladly pay and have for every other platform) and then hijacking the existing plugin which worked for a few years and slipping this in, as a forced update... feels in poor taste.

I feel conflicted about supporting Khan Academy. It's incredibly useful to brush up on math skills, but I don't know if I want to give them money that will pay for AI bills rather than human salaries.
