My name is Luna. I love art, and I'm a bit of a jack of all trades. I do digital portraits and analog art, especially collage.

Still thinking about last night's Mighty Nein episode. I had a meltdown afterwards last night but I'm like, not mad about it haha. I think I've come away from it loving Caleb more than before and even identifying with him in a way I hadn't before. Seeing that backstory visually hit really different.

Cat death is my one trigger (I have ptsd related to it) and uhh I think I should have taken better care of myself going into the new Mighty Nein episode. Of course I knew it was coming but I could not have been prepared to actually see Caleb's backstory on screen tbh.

I got 50k words for Nanowrimo which amounted to some really good work on the first draft of my novel. I'm hoping to finish the first draft by the end of January at the latest and then put it away for a while to work on other projects.

I hate the way that authors have to like, list out tropes for their books to sell them. I don't blame authors for it because like... marketing. I just hate reliance on tropes.
And also I hate that as I'm working on my own novel I am thinking about what tropes could be assigned to it.

And this one of the main reasons video games are one of the tamest, less challenging mediums. Any attempt to draw outside the lines is cut short by the medium's own structures.
Our Position We are committed to producing challenging, adult storytelling. HORSES uses grotesque, subversive imagery to confront power, faith, and violence. We reject subjective obscenity standards and believe this kind of moralizing censorship evokes a darker past in which vague notions of “decency” were used to silence artists. Games are an artistic medium and lawful works for adults should remain accessible. We respect players enough to present the game as intended and to let adults choose what to play; lawful works should not be made unreachable by a monopolistic storefront’s opaque decisions. Steam publicly downplays human curation in favor of algorithmic sales optimization, yet intervenes with censorship when a game’s artistic vision does not align with what the platform owners considers acceptable art. Steam’s behavior passively shapes which titles developers feel safe creating, pushing preemptive censorship.
